  • For body: Wet the bar and rotate in palm to produce a lather, and apply lather to baby using hands or wash cloth, depending on your preference. Bar can also be wet and gently used directly on baby’s skin if preferred. Rinse thoroughly.
  • For hair: Wet the bar and rotate in palm to produce a lather. Gently massage foamy lather into hair then rinse thoroughly.

CAUTION: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. When using a product for the first time, it is recommended to test it on a small area and monitor for skin reaction during 24 hours before applying to a larger area. If irritation occurs, stop use and contact your physician. Keep out of reach of children.

WITH SUSTAINABLY SOURCED SHEA BUTTER: We source our fair-trade shea butter from the mountainous highlands of Guinea in West Africa. Shea nuts are harvested by village farmers and locally pressed into a nourishing, unrefined shea butter well known for its hydrating and skin softening properties. Founded by the son of a Native Guinean, our provider uses the proceeds of the harvest to ensure farmers receive access to healthcare, education and a fair living wage.

  • How is the shampoo & wash bar different than a traditional soap bar?

    Traditional soap bars are made using a "true soap” base, which means they are created by saponifying fats (typically vegetable oils). The resulting soap base is then mixed with other ingredients like fragrances, colorants, and moisturizers before being milled and pressed into bars. In contrast, our Shampoo & Wash uses a “soap-free” base. Instead of saponified fats, it contains a mild, sulfate-free cleanser combined with moisturizing ingredients such as sustainably sourced shea butter and our nutri-soothe herbal blend. “Soap-free” formulas have a pH of between 5-6 and are milder on skin and hair, making them the ideal choice for a baby product.

  • What does it mean to be both a shampoo and body wash bar?

    Our bar is designed for versatile use, both as a shampoo and a body wash. The mild, sulfate-free cleanser is effective for both skin and hair as it generates a rich lather suitable for gently cleaning both the body and the scalp/hair.

  • How many uses will I get from this soap bar?

    Based on the concentrated volume of ingredients and the testing we’ve done for comparison, the Shampoo & Wash Bar equates to roughly as much product as our 16 oz bottle. The total number of washes will always depend on how much is applied in each wash, which can depend on hair length, preference for amount of lather, etc.
