They do not contain the chemical ingredients banned in those areas like Oxybenzone or Octinoxate. However, “Reef-Safe” is an unregulated statement. For everyday sun protection, we recommend using an SPF 30 or higher. SPF 30 offers great protection for daily activities. If you're spending extended time outdoors or swimming, opt for SPF 50 or higher for extra defense. Always reapply every 80 minutes for optimal protection, especially when sweating or swimming, and follow the instructions on the Drug Facts Box on the product package.
