Usage

Suitable for all skin types and all ages. Under 6 months: ask your doctor.
For Face & Body.
Apply liberally before sun exposure.
Reapply at least every 2 hours or after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating.

♲ We know recycling can be confusing: different systems depending on your location, unclear labeling, and inaccurate claims do not make it easy.
♲ This is why Babo Botanicals has joined How2Recycle, a coalition of brands working to simplify recycling of their products. Developed by the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, the “How2Recycle” program evaluates each package and provides a label that clearly indicates if each part of a product is widely recyclable or not. Since 2021, all new packaging of our products include the How2Recycle information.

Are Babo Botanicals' sunscreens reef-safe?

Our sunscreens are compliant with Hawaii’s and other regional regulations on coral reef and marine environment. They do not contain the chemical ingredients banned in those areas like Oxybenzone or Octinoxate. However, “Reef-Safe” is an unregulated statement. While our products technically “qualify”, you can learn more on here about why we have decided to no longer make this statement.

Are Babo Botanicals' sunscreens non-nano?

Yes, all of our sunscreens are formulated with non-nano mineral filters. While the United States does not currently have a specific regulatory definition for nanomaterials in cosmetics, we apply internationally recognized standards and guidance, including European Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 and the European Commission Recommendation 2022/C 229/01.

Is this sunscreen stick intended for face or body?

Our Sheer Zinc Fragrance Free Sunscreen Sport Stick is intended for application on areas like face or other high points of your body. It can be used on other areas for protection, though you may prefer to use one of our lotions or sprays to cover larger areas of your body more efficiently.

Is this sunscreen stick safe to use on my children?

Yes, all of our sunscreen products are safe for use on children (under 6 months old it is recommended to consult your pediatrician before using sunscreen).

Is this sunscreen fragrance-free?

Yes all of our sunscreens are fragrance free. If you can, it is best to avoid fragrances in sunscreen as they can irritate the skin and cause breakouts with sun exposure.
