At Babo Botanicals, we believe that every choice we make—from the ingredients we use to the packaging we design—has an impact. That’s why we’ve taken meaningful steps to reduce our environmental footprint while continuing to deliver high-quality products that you and your family can trust.

Reducing Virgin Plastic: A Major Milestone

In 2022, we set out to reduce virgin plastic in our packaging, and thanks to your support, we’ve made incredible progress! To date, we have saved 9.1 tons of virgin plastic by using alternatives like post-consumer recycled plastic, or other materials like FSC-Certified (sustainably forested) paper.

Our 9.1 tons of virgin plastic savings is equivalent to roughly:

-2.5 African elephants

-18 grizzly bears

-5,000 bunnies

This amounts to a 26% decrease in our virgin plastic usage since 2022—a milestone we’re proud to celebrate!

Packaging Innovations We're Proud Of

To achieve this reduction, we’ve moved 14 of our products into 100% Recycled Plastic Bottles! We’ve also introduced more eco-friendly packaging solutions, including:

✅ Haircare Products in Cartons – Six of our haircare products now come in cartons made from 80% less plastic than a traditional bottle of the same size, which are also curbside recyclable

✅ Jumbo Refill Pouches – We launched refill pouches for some of our most loved products, reducing plastic waste while giving you more of what you love.

✅ 100% Plastic-Free Products – We're expanding our selection of plastic-free offerings, making it even easier to make sustainable choices at home.
